CO2 inflators serve as a compact, lightweight, and efficient solution for inflating tires following a puncture. These devices utilize carbon dioxide gas, which is stored under pressure in small gas cylinders. The CO2 cartridges are connected to the inflator and subsequently release the gas into the tire via the valve. It is important to note that each carbon dioxide cartridge is designed for single-use.

CO2 cartridges are available in 16g, 25g, and 38g capacities. Larger CO2 cartridges naturally contain a greater volume of gas. For the majority of road and gravel cyclists, a 16g CO2 cartridge is sufficient to achieve an appropriate tire pressure. However, some high-capacity mountain bike tires may necessitate a larger quantity of gas to reach a suitable riding pressure.And we could use the CO2 inflators to charge the tires in seconds.
