Common industrial gas cylinders such as oxygen cylinders, hydrogen cylinders, carbon dioxide cylinders, ammonia cylinders, argon cylinders, dissolved acetylene cylinders, and liquefied petroleum gas cylinders used by enterprises.
2.1 Use within the inspection cycle, the inspection cycle of various types of gas cylinders:
2.1.1 Seamless steel gas cylinders: gas cylinders containing corrosive gases, diving gas cylinders, and gas cylinders that are often in contact with seawater are inspected every 2 years; gas cylinders containing general gases are inspected every 3 years; gas cylinders containing inert gases are inspected every 5 years.
For gas cylinders with a service life of more than 30 years, they will not be inspected after registration and will be scrapped.
2.1.2 Welded steel gas cylinders: gas cylinders containing corrosive gases are inspected every 2 years; gas cylinders containing general gases are inspected every 3 years. For gas cylinders containing corrosive gases with a service life of more than 12 years, and gas cylinders containing other gases with a service life of more than 20 years, they will not be inspected after registration and will be scrapped.
2.1.3 Liquefied petroleum gas cylinders: From the date of manufacture, the first to the third inspection cycle is 4 years, and every four inspection cycles are 3 years; for YSP-50 type cylinders, they are inspected every 3 years; for any type of gas cylinders with a service life of more than 15 years, they will not be inspected after registration and will be scrapped.
2.1.4 Dissolved acetylene gas cylinders: inspected every 3 years.
2.1.5 If the gas cylinder is found to be severely corroded or damaged during use, or if there is doubt about its safety and reliability, it should be inspected in advance.
2.1.6 Gas cylinders that have been in storage and out of use for more than one inspection cycle should be inspected before being put into use.
2.2 No defects and corrosion in appearance
Industrial gas cylinders have no defects, dents, mechanical damage or severe corrosion in appearance.
